Colorado Artist, Nancy Bonig, began kiln-working glass in 1998. Nancy designs and creates most of her kilnworked pieces with the hope that they will be functional as well as decorative. The design process starts with the finished piece in mind - it’s final size, shape, bend and function. Then she draws on the influence of the Art Deco period, with it's sleek, geometric forms and stylized imagery in decoration and design.
